Im 70 and still painting started when i was eleven we were always taught to do the edges first (must be cautious with 3 stage colors) but we were always taught to start at the top first because dirt doesn't fall up and you don't want it falling in wet paint below!!

This brought back memories of visiting my brother-in-law's body shop to watch him paint when I stayed with my sister. I don't do anything automotive-related, but seeing the skill exerted was enough to love cars and the process of getting them on the road and keeping them there. My respect for a quality job. Love watching someone who knows what they’re doing. All the edges first the start at the bottom up side to side staying consistent. I just want to see the clear coat next lol Thats usually the harder thing to spray.

Although more expensive i will always say a properly done paintjob looks better than a wrap especially nowadays when everyone with a heat gun and a squeegee thinks they are good

Я долго шланги таскал. Подготавливать научился в идеале. Только потом начал грунтовать. После меня маляр посто заходил в камеру, повторно обезжиривал большие поверхности, проходил липкой салфеткой и красил. В итоге получал как я практически. Мне это надоело. И маляр забухал. Я вечером остался и покрасил бочину клиентской тачки. Даже переходы хорошо получились. Потом вел свои тачки от стапеля до камеры и сборки сам. Всех все устраивало. Кроме маляра с которым работали. То пулик собьёт, то дюзу куда-то спрячет.
