How to fix Xbox 360 disc drive not opening

Knock on the top using the center of the tray as a guide

get 99% rubbing alcohol and a qtip and there is a lil black band. keep the disc tray open while its turned off, then wet the qtip and place on band and open and close the drive. worked for me

Mine did that for a week but then it stopped having the issue. I just held down the eject button while trying to push out the tray with something like a card.

I got it out with that but the thing still blinked and it wouldn’t go back in or come out unless I use my hands to push it out or push it in so it doesn’t work
