Elden Ring (PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S/One) is an amazing game that is actually pretty silly and strange when you think about it.

My biggest "makes no sense" thing in Elden Ring: When you are fighting a boss (like Godrick) and halfway through the fight he starts to monologue, remove his own arm, and graft a dragon head onto his body, what the hell is my character doing while all of this is going on? Is he just watching and thinking, "Huh, this looks bad."

I have no problem with the inventory weight thing. I get so sick of playing inventory management instead of actual games.

The statues you point at during Number 10 are the co-op summoning pools, not the ones for your spirit ashes. that's why they're always next to a grace or stake of marika, so your friends, or a helping stranger, can jump in quickly and you don't have to run to a special place before getting into the action.

At this point you might as well just ask why the bosses don’t leave their spawn areas and go have families

Then, after beating the end bosses, and becoming Elden Lord (or one of the other crazy endings), if you don't immediately start a new journey, pretty much the rest of map has no change and you interact with people who don't acknowledge it in any way, I wanted every merchant to grovel at my feet.

Inventory exists in a pocket dimension and only has weight when you pull it out. Solved. 😁

Fun fact: there are no rebirth monuments (Stakes of Marika) in Raya Lucaria. Presumably Rennala, who's husband was stolen by Marika, did pull that shit out so she didn't have to see homewrecker Marika's face all the time.

Correction: I was wrong about Stakes of Marika and Rebirth monuments being the same thing. While there are no Stakes of Marika in Raya Lucaria, there are Rebirth Monuments that let you use Spirit Ashes.

Everything in the lands between is technically already dead. Maliketh holds the rune of death which prevents spirits from fully dying. They're technically reborn after "death" because death is held within maliketh himself.

Falcon kills me with his descriptions. ‘Have enough Arcane and everyone becomes a hemophiliac.’😆

Should’ve mentioned that Rykard, the lord of blasphemy, serpent king, allows a handy “serpent hunter” spear to just sit in his area for someone to come and kill him with it lol.

Elden ring is so realistic, I play as a maidenless tarnish, just like real life.

The fall damage is perfectly explained. All you need is some glow stones to drop, if they smash when they land unsafe drop. Can also jump down onto spirit springs with Torrent an be fine.

Bell Bearing is the perfect explanation for infinite inventory. You could put items in the bell bearing and no one can access it except you. Twin Maiden husks are the only ones that can unlock it. At least that's my in-head canon.
Devs probably toyed with the idea of you losing yours to bell bearing hunter you find in the game. They probably abandoned it after realizing that how it can make already hard enough game unbearable.

The first point the visuals dont fit with what you are saying, those are not Rebirth Monuments, those are the Summon Hubs for Player summons, the Monuments for the Ash Summons are simple Pillars and are found in a lot of Boss rooms directly, not outside of the Bossgate. Check the Tutorial in your inventory again, so you can see what they look like.
Edit : i just realized the tutorial note dosnt show how they look like it was only shown in the pop up tutorial while playing, so the easiest way to see for yourself how the Rebirth Monuments actually look like is to google for the article on gamerant : Strange Elden Ring Rock Structures Actually Serve a Purpose

I love the coffins, but im sure they just put them in as a call back / reference to Dark Souls 1.

Lol the logic of the inventory weight... You're comparing that to other games like witcher, fallout, cyberpunk etc but questioning that should make you question where are all the items in the first place in any of these games. The only game that did that properly realistic is Death Stranding...

Plot twist: Talisman pouches have to be sewn onto a person's skin using Magic, hence why certain creatures will drop one and you have to acquire pouches from certain people or areas

The inventory is sitting in the same dimension as where all your socks disappear to when you put them in the dryer. Only FromSoftware figured out how to get those items back

Number 10 actually makes sense . The statues are so small and plain looking that it would definitely go under a lord's radar . If they don't know what the damn things do, why would they destroy them? Heck, I probably would have ignore them if the icon to interact with them didn't pop up

I think the stakes of marika have a sort of protection on them that keeps enemies or bosses from touching them, much like all of the enemy's get reset when a player rests at a site of Grace or a bonfire, I think if a boss touches a stake of Marika, he gets reset to his resting position in his ordinary spot or throne room, and since the stake is usually located outside of the fog wall, I think they either have an obligation or a restriction that keeps them in their boss room and prevents them from getting access to even attempt to destroy the statue, at least that would be a lore friendly way to go about it.
