I felt that this scene was breaking the 4th wall, with Carrie Ann thanking the audience and/or studio for giving them a chance to make another Matrix movie.

Love or hate this film, can we all just appreciate how flawlessly Carrie-Ann Moss fell back into playing Trinity?

From the moment she remembers who she is to the way she handles The Architect during this scene just felt like the Trinity we loved back on the big screen and finally given the spotlight she deserved.

I thought that was a lovely ending, no matter how cheesy you think it is. I felt a lot of nostalgia when watching this while „Wake Up“ was getting played. The only things I didn’t like about this film were the Merowingian (how unimportant he actually was in this film), how they ridiculed Morpheus a bit too much and the missing of Hugo Weaving (he would have carried this film, but he was unavailable due to his schedule with his theatre). I think overall the movie was good, and no matter what you do and hate about it, it‘s Lana‘s story to tell. I also loved the middlefinger to Warner Bros. and the film industry and consumerist society we live in. The Analyst in that matter was a great villain. How they used Sati was also good.

The irony of using Brass Against's version: just like Sophia Urista pissed on that fan on stage, during the live performance of Wake Up, someone pissed on the Matrix franchise. The difference is that the fan liked it, and would've gladly payed to have her do that.

As long as they leave it here, and stop screwing with it, the Matrix franchise is well enough ended. The original ride was worth it, despite Revolutions' disappointments, and they didn't mishandle this one too bad. Let it be.
