I recently joined this group on Facebook where they make seitan using the wash that flour method! Now this seitan they are making is some of the best vegan meats I've seen. I recently came across a recipe by Oncle Hu that looked incredible and I knew I had to try it!!
So here is my slightly modified vegan pastrami!! Its amazing!!

Due to some odd circumstances I can no longer share the group or recipe link.
For now check out these awesome Seitan groups to learn more about the methods used in the video.

You are amazing and did not deserve how you were treated by Grace Meyer and the admins of their group. You always give credit to the creators and their food. No excuse for how you were treated. Love you and your content!

Just so you know, there are hundreds of comments in the offending post in that group in your defence. Mine included. You always credit the creators, and you do great work. Thanks for the videos!

I brined seitan for 9 days and baked it in a Dutch oven for 3 hours coated in oil. It was a lovely sandwich “meat”

I'm sorry that you're involved in completely unnecessary FB group drama. You are nothing but nice, respectful, and professional. That woman is a complete psycho for making a big deal over this. Great video! Thanks!

Personally I put my seitan in a saucepan when I'm adding the seasonings. The gluten becomes stretchier with the heat so you can add all the spices and if it's too hard to incorporate it well, I also add chickpea flour

This one is by far the best-looking vegan meat I've ever seen. Thank you for making such quality videos :)

Just want to add another supportive voice from the washed flour seitan group. Admin has been a power tripper from the start and the thread in question is reaching 400 comments in support. The group generally supports your content it's just a couple of admins who are jealous and unhinged lmao

Hey Mark!!! Just wanted to let you know that you have tons of fans in that Facebook group that banned you for no reason. We support you and that admin was so unnecessarily rude. Keep doing what you’re doing, your recipes are fantastic.

😳 I just got banned from the group for saying that the whole thing with the group admin/creator is level expert petty. Which exactly proves my point. Love you Stache! You're my favorite chef and a class act. Thanks for all you give. <3

Idk anything about the whole Facebook group incident but I just found your YT page a few days ago and am honestly loving your content. I've been a vegetarian for 18 years and have never made my own seitan because I've been too afraid to make one. Your videos is giving the strength to dive in and make one. Thank you for this! I'll definitely be trying out both the kneading and no kneading seitan from your other video.

Love how excited you get! I’m the same in my vegan kitchen and my kids are my only audience, lol! Lots of “yes, good job Mom...” (and occasional eye rolling)

Been a member of that group for almost a year now, just left and have subscribed to you. Pretty certain about 95% of the members of the group vocalised that the way the admins acted was completely out of line. Full support to you, looking forward to your videos from here on out!

Idk why those FB ppl were so rude to you. You seem like a genuinely nice person and me and lots of other ppl really like and appreciate your videos. I learned a lot from watching your channel I love all your experiments. There are also other seitan and washed flour groups on FB that are not mental. Good work! 💚

You’re my absolute fave man! The admin on that page are tripping. You do you and keep being awesome. The fact that you always shout out people and give credit where it’s due is so wonderful.
