I'm trying to fix road rash on my 2010 Honda Civic daily driver. The scratches are deep enough I filled some with spot putty, just big enough that touch up paint from a brush won't do the job, but still too small for taking to a body shop. I tried painting with actual touchup pen paint mixed with reducer. First mistake was watching a video on some other channel that said acetone worked well for thinning paint, so now I have a slightly bigger paint job. A couple of my other problems are, where I'm located, I have to paint outdoors, but I'm not allowed to rattle can. What I do have is a USB portable airbrush, 0.3 mm nozzle, 18 psi. I was able to get touchup pen paint to flow with a proper reducer, but it came out looking uneven, mottled, clogged a lot, and as you can imagine, I need to clear it all off and put a proper primer/sealer down. The original paint number on my Honda is NH700M, Alabaster Metallic Silver. Probably 6013 Silver Sealer regardless of color choice. Should I go with Wicked Colors W351 Metallic Silver and maybe add a little W360 Metallic White mixed in for a proper match along with the 4011 reducer and 4050 UVLS Gloss Clear, or because of the airbrush limitation, mix Illustrated Colors 5068, 5078, and 5074 Opaque black, white, and blue along with the 4011 and 4050?

Good job. I can tell that the aluminium is very similar to the real deal. I would like to thank you for the candy grabber orange over black paint question I had the other day. I have a motorcycle paint job im looking forward to this winter. He wants it black gloss and nothing else. Im going to try doing the black candy over the black gloss if i can convince him it might look cool. Can you do a Demonstration of black candy over different base colors?

Can you spray your base coat color on a non createx color primer? for example Speedokote Primer?

Another great video! With regards to the drop coat, would you also need to do this if you'd mixed wicked aluminium into the candy for either a final coat or a mid coat?
Thanks.

Chris ... you always put the sealer coat on bare metal .. but if I've had to do body work and put down a 2k primer sealer .. can this seal coat go down right on that, to say get the candy color desired color effects ?

Are those just plastic cards painted half black and half white to start?

I'm thinking of going with an air gun like you're using. Does it clean up like a regular air brush. Do you use new cans and strainer ever time or do you clean them. I don't deal with the large quantity's you do, what would be the next smallest gun you could use that would posibly be bigger than a regular air brush?

Can you mix 4050 with the black airborne auto sealer to get a black gloss base coat to then shoot quicksilver followed by a candy color to achieve an anodized looking finished product?

Could the sealer benefit with 4050 mixed in for a higher end gloss (airbrush - smallere parts) ? Ratios ?
How about that video about polish the 4050...
And for my own interest. Polish model resin cars 1:24 : 1:25 so they can get that Createx shine ;) !

For so long, videos said used 4012, now it's back to 4011 reducer. It used to be mix candy with 4030, then it was bleed checker, now it's clear. I know you are constantly evolving, but it gets confusing at times when the instructional videos contradict each other.
