Are you asking yourself, “What gynecologic surgery did I have?” Can you believe that the majority of women who’ve had gynecologic surgery don’t know what was removed or what the consequences are? This video explains surgical procedures in a manner you’ll find fun and easy to understand. I’ll use fruit and vegetables to demonstrate anatomical parts, and tell you which surgical procedures cause menopause.

I can't believe I have 4 children and have never learned this stuff! You are doing such a service to all women of all ages. I'm going to share your videos with my young adult daughters so they know what the heck is going on in there! You make the information entertaining and easy to understand. thank you so much!

I'm 63 and never really knew that I had had a total hysterectomy. Since I still had my ovaries and tubes I always thought it was a partial and none of my doctors ever told me what that meant until you! Thank you. Can't wait for more info from you.

I'm 48, (with all of my parts present for now) and started watching your series as i want to get prepared for menopause, as 50s is approaching... I must say i love the way of presentation and the whole idea of making videos in a specific order. As I'm Greek, all these medical terms are easy, everyday language for me. I am really impressed! Will watch them all and I'm sure that by the end of it I will learn everything. Thank you so much!

I wish you would have been the one to teach me my math classes! I probably would have understood how to do it. :)

I am 54 and this information makes perfect sense. I will definitely encourage my 19-year-old daughter to watch your videos.

What I mean is that we were obviously born a teacher (and became a surgeon) and I can tell you not everybody can explain things clearly. That's a gift.

Incredible video, Barbie! I especially loved the laparoscopic picture! I have always wondered how a doctor leaves fallopian tubes, ovaries, and cervix in a partial hysterectomy if those things are attached to the uterus. The only answer must be that they cut the middle section out and leave the top and the cervix. 🤷‍♀️

I am learning so much from these videos. I've been using the wrong term for what I had done for almost 20 years. I always say I had a total hysterectomy but that is not correct. I had a complete clean out. Everything was removed and that big ass long name is too long to type LOL

Great Video!
I'm 50 and had a partial hysterectomie 2 years ago. I'm not in Menopause, but since that time my hormones are not in balance anymore. My Metabolism is down and my mammary grows and ists hard and painful. My Doc says, oh thats surprising, but its not cancer, be lucky!
Its not satisfactory.
Greetings from Germany
