In Vietnam, which returned to French colonial rule, 700 to 800 Japanese soldiers remained and weapons such as aircraft and tanks were left behind. Kwangai Army Junior High School was established in 1946 during the Vietnam Independence War. There are no bad soldiers but bad Generals. The regular IJA soldier was very courageous and brave but ended up wasting their lives due to the bushido code of choosing death over capture or surrender, forced on them by their commanders.
