Best advice ever - STAY CONSISTANT, NOTHING HAPPENS OVERNIGHT. Gotta admit, once I stopped expecting my skincare to give instant results, I ended up saving money and started seeing results!

Staying consistent is one of the hardest things to do with skincare. It’s frustrating to not see results as quickly as you want and sometimes you think that maybe your skin isn’t even getting better, when it actually is - it’s just super slow. I’ve noticed quite an improvement in my hyperpigmentation over the course of a few months on adapalene/benzoyl peroxide gel, but it only goes so far until I break out again and have to wait another few months for the hyperpigmentation to clear 😓

I tried all these ingredients by themselves they didn't do much, but then i tried them all together as my night time routine and within 3 days! i could see visible results🤗less acne, brighter, less oily and smoother skin. ( i use Cerave benzoyl peroxide wash, paula's choice bha, Cerave pm moisturer and differin gel)

These are so hard to treat because it takes months to see any progress... I've just started the journey again with all 3 of these products, hope I can stay consistent

What is whiteheads?, is it milia or is it infected pores?...
I have milia and am very old now.
I intend to care for my skin now!...
But is very textured, I have milia, big pores, sebaceous filaments, dry skin, seryngomas under eyes, sun spots, skin raised growths... 😔
How do I start with adapalene?
Night: double wash, moisturiser, adapalene (3 nights/week) and let sit until the morning?. 👍
Day: dab watered face with soft towel, morning serum, and sunscreen?.
Please. Let me know!.
Thank yu for your generosity sharing your knowledge and trying to help

Thank you for the recommendations of evening and morning routines you've posted. I am 47 and my hormones wanted to show out. I went from having glass-makeup-optional skin to cauliflower bumps. I use (Evening) the PanOxyl wash, Differin gel and Zapzyt spot treatment with CosRx hyaluronic moisturizer. In the morning, I use CeraVe salicylic wash OR acne free 2.5% benzoyl peroxide wash and salicylic treatment spot gel with CosRx snail mucin moisturizer OR hyaluronic moisturizer if I wear makeup. My skin is SMOOTH and 98% free of texture. The Differin gel paired with benzoyl peroxide works much better for me than the tretinoin by itself.

I used Diffrin gel in the past for my acne and it was great.. I saw results fairly quickly.. (I mean I was expecting for my acne to take at least 6 months to improve a bit but it took less time than that) and I had pretty nice somewhat clear skin after that, wasn't flawless but I was happy with it.. now I'm starting to have more pimples again, not as severe as they used to be in the past.. I started using Diffrin again and it's SO SLOW.. I don't know why.. I feel that my skin is getting worse..
But I'm also going through some stressful times so it could be that
Gonna try to stay patient..

Yes yes yes, thanks for all your recommendations! I’ve used that toner and the Adapalene, ran out of the retinol 2 months ago, and yes people it does help. I gotta get me another tube though and continue

Are you meant to use all 3 ingredients? I'm just curious because I have sensitive skin and using BP and SA together has wrecked my skin barrier in the past 🤔
