Also, make sure you wash and condition your hair, completely rinse in out, put it up in a clip of some sorts, THEN wash your body. It took my years to realize that if you don’t actually scrub the conditioner off, it makes you prone to back and booty acne. Ever since I switched up my routine, I haven’t had any issues.

Make sure the back brush you’re using is silicon based. The one he’s using can harbour bacteria so it can ultimately be counterproductive.

Also, make sure to wash your back after you used conditioner in your hair.

Dude I’ve needed this!! Thank you!!!! It’s awful ever since I had spinal fusion surgery, I can’t feel anything on my shoulder blades and around the scar. It’s terrible because it’s hard to clean around the scar without pain or difficulty.

The best change I made was to not panic and over exfoliate. I did it every show bc the acne freaked me out. I had a break and the acne went away :)

I used to have quite stubborn back acne for years. I’d get the really painful ones too. How I got rid of almost all of it is by taking the yellow dial soap and scrubbing my back gently with a back scrubber from the dollar store. Takes about about a week to two weeks to start seeing results, but it’s worked for me! I used to have some hyperpigmentation as remnants from previous zits, and it’s almost completely gone. Commitment is key, it has to be done everyday (preferably at night) to get the results you want.

I wish any of this worked. I have been second-degree sunburned so many times especially on my back that it does not matter how often I change my sheets, exfoliate my back, use salicylic acid, even having doctors pump me full of tetracycline, it is still always there and has been there for decades. I’ve just learned to live with it. And never wear anything backless. Or tank tops. Or anything cute. Ever.

Something that really is helping me is not wearing the same bra twice, like most people will wear their bra for 2-3 days without changing it, I’ve noticed that my backs clears up when I change and wash my bras regularly along with using an acne cleanser in the shower

Dr, first of all, I’m sorry for my English, your thoughts 💭 and opinions are so good! Stop 🛑 just reacting with just faces and reactions, I’m sure almost everyone agrees with me, listen to you is 100% better.

The bacteria in brushes weirds me out. I got a scrubber sheet off Amazon and LOVE it. It's a course material about the size and shape as a standard scarf. You use it as a body scrubber in the shower and then just toss it in the washing machine.

For me what stopped it was avoiding heavy perfumed laundry soap, skin soap and hair products
