Dr. Liu is the co-founder of NACPro+, dedicated to optimizing immunity and wellness.
Dr. Liu graduated from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in 1998 and is Double Boarded in Infectious Disease and Internal Medicine. She is licensed in the state of California.
This channel is separate from Dr. Liu’s duties as Attending Medical Staff @ Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and as Assistant Professor at Loma Linda University School of Medicine. The views on this channel are her own.

It is easier to grind a couple of tablespoons of flax seeds just before use with a cheap $10 coffee grinder than to have to worry about refrigeration or rancidness.

As you have mentioned, as a Bangladeshi I can confirm that we eat a lot of turmeric in our foods. In almost every curry whether it is vegetable, fish, meat or even lentils we put turmeric. In my home we eat at least 2 dishes that are spiced with turmeric twice a day if not more.

We always wash our rice several times, then soak it a few hours, dump that water, cook rice in excess water & dump that again. It's a common practice I have seen my mom doing it all my life & now I do it too. I am from a south east Asian country where we eat rice twice a day if not thrice. Yeah. So, that process have become a ritual in most families.

After watching this great video, I got so scared of cancer that I took off my 100% cotton t-shirt and ate it all.
... It was a blue t-shirt for extra phytonutrients.

... I feel full and so much healthier now.

Quinoa with oats, I'm going to try that! I like the taste of quinoa, but the texture not so much. I do like brown rice but rarely eat it anymore.

Thank you very much, I have learned something again, there are also areas with arsenic contamination in Germany. But I rarely eat rice because I already knew that.❤❤❤❤

Is it better to eat the flax, Blueberries etc raw? Do we still get the benefits if we eat them cooked/baked? Thanks so much for all your education!!

Dr. Liu, I am enjoying your channel very much, there's still so much to learn, so thank you for all your effort as a very busy person to educate us and make the world a healthier place. I have one question for you, and it would be great if you could turn this into a video: you are very strict with what you put in your body, but you do buy produce and soy products that are imported from China. Foods from China have been a concern for a very long time due to deliberate contamination by producers, among other concerns. I would very much appreciate your opinion on this. Hi from Canada!
