This video shows a quick and easy way to cut splines that are exactly the same width as your table saw blade. All without ANY measuring of any kind!
This will come in handy when making mitered corners with splines on boxes.

Not sure why the pieces have to be the same width? Either piece can be any width can’t it? As long as the fence doesn’t move? Once you have a piece notched, can’t you push any piece up against that and the fence to make a spline? Great tip either way!!!
