We appreciate the video. Not many people have shown enough info for the 05-09. I am looking forward to your content, bro!

Thank you! Finally someone did a video that you can use if you're actually planning this swap!

I have done the swap on my 05, but when I used a harness by a speed shop that will not be named, it ran, but could not use my a/c and it grounded out a lot of my BCM and the radio would not work, etc. I just went ahead and swapped in a 2013 premium body harness, dash, seats, etc. Just a note, there will probably be a few other wiring issues if you have a 05-06 as the harnesses are different. GREAT INFORMATION!!

Just something to note, sometimes replacing a 05-09 fuel tank to a 11-14 fuel tank is the easier solution when running the return style fuel system and installing a bulk head. It allows for way more options for sending unit assemblies as well because 05-09 has limited (and expensive) options aftermarket.

I just bought a 2007 Explorer Limited with 4.6 6r60. I think this would be a perfect swap candidate for a coyote. I am going to binge watch your video series here. I am only at 22 minutes and see that you attack these the same way I would and it seems you have similar goals. 'make it look clean and factory'. having the coyote pcm talk to the body and then the lack of PS pump are the 2 hurdles I see for the swap.

Hey Matt, I also wanted to give you a heads up on that corvette fuel filter/regulator. I used the same thing and when I was logging, it went lean at WOT. I ended up having to buy a regulator.

Nice job! But if you shop you can get an EPASS and harness for less than the PBH speed drive and keep everything in its proper place. Also It is WELL WORTH the $995 for the PBH conversion harness over rewiring and repining the factory harness. I completed my 07 swap for right at $3000 not including the engine and its bolt ons.

Matt I hope you do a step by step video on the wiring harness I’m really wanting to do this swap as well but am very intimidated by the wiring! Nice video, and I’m subscribing now!

i'm thinking seriously about swapping in a 5.0, (gen 1, 2, or 3, whichever i get a good deal or mustang motor), with a manual transmission, into my '66 F100. would this spreadsheet translate over? what i mean is: would the 5.0 part of this spreadsheet simply serve as a guide on what wires to eliminate from the harness? i would imagine that the harness would be downsized quite a bit to do a swap into an older vehicle. this video was very informative.

Hey Matt your build is amazing 💪👍. I’d like to do something similar. I have an 2010 f150 with a 6r80 transmission. I just came across a 10 - 12” gt500 motor and tranny that I’d like to swap into my truck but I’d like to run it with my automatic transmission the 6r80. I’ve been told that the body harness would be the most difficult simulate due to different can buses. Is this possible and do you make a harness that would allow me to plug & play for this swap / application ? Or if I followed your blueprint could I depin my harness, bridge the gt harness with mines to run in my year vehicle ? Any information would greatly help me 🙌 please

Have you been able to get some work Stunt Driving in Arizona? I've been trying to get connected with the guy that coordinates stunts in PR.

Hope to see your swap make some progress soon, don't go crazy and pull your hair out dealing with all the wiring haha

Also, if you decide to sell this spreadsheet after your successful build, I would be interested in purchasing a copy.

Hello there, this is Jorge. I just have some questions regarding the harness conversion for a 5.liter coyote second gen! Out of an F150, I'm trying to put a manual transmission, but I don't wanna get the xterminator harness way too expensive. Would I be able to just modify the harness and make it work with the 4.6L transmission? Thank you for your time😅😅

Would you be willing to share that Sheet? You can share the link as Read Only (Viewer).

Would you be able to convert a 4.6 harness to do a coyote swap on a fox?

Can you fit a 5-speeds transmission from a 2005 mustang gt behind the coyote engine?
