In the reflection phenomenon making the rounds on TikTok, a user holds an object with a piece of paper underneath it against a mirror in such a way that the paper is blocking the mirror’s ‘view’ of the object. The user then pans the camera over to the side, and is shocked to see the obscured object become visible in the mirror. Since TikTok user Bailey Caviness first posted about it asking “How does the mirror know that that’s there?”, countless others have stitched their attempts and reactions. While some remain perplexed, many have pointed out that there’s a simple explanation: the reflection of light.

Okay, so a he beginning of the video, you can hear the lighter on the side closest to the camera, hit the floor before the lighter in the "mirror" hits the floor on that side. So, it's clear that this is not a mirror at all.
But man, if I didn't have fun trying to figure that out! I man, I figured it out right away, but it was still super fun watching it!
You know, I came here because of another video, but if I click on any more of these, I might have to do more than like their videos, I might actually have to subscribe! Okay, we'll see!

It's not a mirror. Look at the movement of both hands (in front of and behind the "mirror"): they move differently.

Look at the paper on the cracks then look at paper in so called mirror they’re in different places

As for the lighter trick:
Look at the tiles the papers are sitting on. They dont match. Good illusion.

Baloney. The index finger on this side is curved. Notice the other fingers in the mirror. They're straight. Not a mirror, but I can see where some would think it is.

I noticed that when you remove the lighter on the other side of the supposed mirror the shadow of the arm does not appear, so the most logical thing would be that it is not a mirror.

That is a window, not a mirror. When, placing the lighter on the tile, the movement is not perfectly in sync. And when placing the bag on this side of the "mirror", the bag is placed on top of the tile grout lines. On the other side of the "mirror", the bag is NOT sitting on the grout lines. Good try.
