People thought that Vampires don’t got a soul and that it’s a soul that’s reflecting in the mirror, lakes and co. I think that dates back till some myth of the antic, where vampires in there todays form didn’t existed but similar things.

Vampire has no reflection in the old time mirrors that have silver backing. Clothes are still visible. Some places have old mirrors still. When I toured a civil war mansion the guide said 1 time there were not the same amount of heads in the mirror. Also a lady screamed when some werepyre I met didn't have a head in a mirror at Macy's in Chicago. They are still earthlings living peacefully amongst us. Some normal humans are the true monsters.
