'She had limited value': Seattle officer investigated over bodycam comments

A Seattle police officer is under investigation over comments captured by his bodycam after another officer fatally struck a pedestrian. KING's Sebastian Roberts reports.

Those words are sickening especially if you know the details on what happened. The officer was rushing to an overdose call with no lights and alarms and the young lady walked past the obstructing construction onto the crosswalk. She wouldn’t have seen him and had no time to react in time. She could be alive today if the sirens had been on 😢

I live in Seattle. It is unfortunate the DOJ removed most of the consent decree provisions on September 7th, 2023, then this happened. This officer had multiple complaints made against him before this happened. Yet, he remained an active police officer with the Seattle police department. How many other police like him are on the police force in Seattle. Why are they not given psychological and personality tests to identify they should not be on the police force. There is something terribly wrong!
