I searched “woman with bat wings” to try to find the name of that creature, but apparently “bat wings” are what people call flabby arms so that’s enough of that. 😔
Old decrepit places and people going crazy are a winning combination so I’ll have to keep Adam Nevill in mind for sure!

I too very much enjoyed Cunning Folk. Nevill is a master of writing about breakdowns - both of the psyche and of the physical environment. His descriptions of dank, dark, moldy spaces are very visceral and always leave me with a need for light and air. I feel suffocated when reading his work - in a good, horror-loving way. :) Great video. love the eye makeup!

Great goodies, great books...sounds like a great month! :-) I just realized that my comment on your last comment didn´t come through...it included a link, so I guess youtube banned it :-/ Anyway, I hope you´re doing well these days :-) I just got Biontech-boostered today and my arms hurts a little bit but otherwise my headache got finally better. Bookwise I just finished my second 5/5 novel in the last weeks, which was Brother by Ania Ahlborn. Great book, but very very sad.
