Play Xbox Games Without Other Profile Signed In

In this video, I will be showing you how to fix the Xbox error that says "The person who brought this needs to sign in" when trying to play a game on an Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S. If another profile has purchased a game or has the Xbox Gamepass, then you can play all the games with a user, without having the profile with gamepass or purchased game being signed into the Xbox. But you may have tried to play a game on your Xbox and had this Xbox error pop up, so in this video I show you how to fix this.

I tried all recommendations, saw a comment on another channel to download a small game, then go back to the game you want to play. It forces the Xbox to sync up again. works fine for me now.

My game pass is payed for and has been working but no games for game pass are loading and it pops this message up and the entire section for finding new games says “not working” and when I try clicking “make this my home Xbox” a check mark appears for less than a second any help for me?

For anyone still having trouble try clearing your MAC address in network advanced settings. Got a suggestion from a Microsoft community member and it cleared it completely up. 👌

Pull out the power cord from your xbox wait a min and it should work fine again

Thanks for the tip, will definitely try this! Does the secondary user have other 'crippled' permissions? i.e. I'm the secondary user, and do not even have the option to play games via the cloud (primary user does this all the time), also the recent experience is I get errors "no space to save this game file" but primary user can add a dozen more save files (drive is 50% empty even after installing Starfield). Any tips on these related issues would be VERY appreciated

Whoooaa this just happened to me. I set my home xbox up when I 1st purchased over a year ago then this finally happened. Not sure why. Any who. Thanks so much! I'm the only person who owns and plays my damm console, noone knows my account other than me and yet somehow I still get the sill messages despite being signed in 110% of the time with a 10% margin of error.

The only fun I found that works is to reset the console.
