I see what you mean by having to repeat pressing the two buttons in case it doesn’t work. I love Xbox but sometimes Microsoft does a half-assed job with their product. Ever since the first 360.

I know this green screen is a known issue and it’s been published several times but this is by far the best Xbox One S 1tb video in which you tell everyone that you turn it on then hit the eject and sync button. This actually got it to go to the menu so I could reset. Thank you!

I’m pretty sure its caused by turning your Xbox off from the socket instead of turning the actual console off

Everyone it might be your wifi that is causing this issue because once i switched to a better one this stopped happening to me

Just a heads up, Its quite rare for this to in such a way you have to do all the steps if it is just this simple problem; this issue has become increasingly more common as the new account selecting area has been updated so sometimes it doesn’t load up the account selecting area and transforms into black nothing to worry about just unplug and plug in the xbox.
