Change Source / Input Name On Samsung Smart TVs

Steps:

- Tap the ‘home’ button on your TV remote.

- Then use the arrow buttons to navigate to the left.

- Once on ‘source’ tap the up arrow.

- Go to the source that you would like to change the name of and tap the up arrow.

- Then tap ‘edit’.

- Go right from the first item on the list and then tap ‘ok’ on the name.

- Use the keyboard to change the name to whatever you like, then tap ‘done’.

- Your sources name has now been changed.

How do you change source picture? I previously had my switch hooked up to source so shows Nintendo switch icon how do I change icon to Xbox?

One source is HDMI 1. It’s Direct TV coming though my home theater system. I’ll rename it to “ Direct TV. After a week or so, it will revert back to HDMI or BD. Then it will ask me if I want to set up a new device… ugh!!! I guess there are times when the satellite signal is lost and the box reboots. This is just how life with cable or satellite signals works. It rarely prevents me from enjoying the service but the renaming is annoying. Why won’t it just keep the name for that input?
