LG C1/C2 - Set a Default HDMI Input

How to set a default HDMI input when you turn on your display. This is good for PC or Console gamers that use this as a dedicated monitor so we don't have to keep changing from the apps menu. This is the same codes for previous generation LG TVs even prior to C1/C2 monitors and likely works with other current models near 2022.

Hold down the settings button for about 10 seconds, go past the initial settings menu.
Type 1105 on the control
Click OK
Enable "Public Display Setting"
Enable "Power On Default"
Choose HDMI Input Default
Exit Menus

Held settings for 10 seconds but doesn’t do anything. Tried pressing 1105 when settings appear but doesn’t do anything either.

How can I set that the tv (LG C21) change the input automatically when it is turned by an external device for example: apple tv or PS5. My tv remains the last input source used before turning off. It makes me crazy! I tried every tips on the net but no solution!

I using prism tv. I have no idea where to switch input from homepage to hdmi. meaning if i off my tv, it go to live tv not homepage such as google tv. The problem Is my tv input source cnt change or switch from homepage to hdmi. If change by select can but the thing is i want from input source to hdmi 1 not homepage aka google tv

This worked for me at one time but no longer does. I have done a firmware update and wondering if that has changed things. Very frustrating to have to do things this way. Tried all variations on this thread. Channel box will not come up.

i’ve G2, earlier I was using D2H connection in HDMI1, that time I’ve set HDMI 1 as default input source but now I’m not using any d2h or other HDMI port so now it’s showing me blank screen when I switch on TV as default was once selected as HDMI 1 so how to turn off that default input source to blank and always display home screen whenever I start G2
