Do you normally play any form of singles?

We do something similar when we only have 3 players available. The side with only 1 player ALWAYS serves. The side with 2 players MUST return the ball to the half of the court that the serve was made from, so the server only has to defend half the normal court. If a point is not made, the players rotate 1 position in a clockwise manner so that there is a new server. Scoring is similar to the one in this video, but it consists of 3 numbers: the server's score being first, the even side player's score next, and the odd side player's score last.

When we have only 2 players, , we use half court as well but cross half courts. That way we simulate the doubles play. When you win on your serve, you switch to the other half cross court and so on.

I usually play badminton but I got a net and it came with pickle ball I play by my own rules so it’s not like regular pickle ball

In skinny singles is the whole kitchen in play or do you need a line to cut the kitchen in half?

This is too complicated. I have never played. Just starting to learn the rules .

Why bother to play so complicated game? Why not just use half of the court? It is easy and fun.
