Singles Pickleball WILL catch on, just watch

I think the main reason why singles pickle ball doesnt catch on is because of court availability.

Played 5.0 tennis and open level racquetball. Pickleball singles is the best workout

Single's Pickleball is more appealing to Tennis players.

I think what puts some people off of Pickleball is they usually see Doubles which involves camping at the kitchen line. Great, I understand that's the meta of the game, but that's why it gets hated on.

I'm not saying you can't play Baseline smashing out Topspins, but Power isn't key.

We used to play this at school in the late 80s/early 90s and called it "padder-tennis". Basically a paddle racket, tennis ball and a similar sized court and low net. It was awesome! Good to see it's getting popular. I see it's been around since 1965.

I only play doubles socially if my husband and I want to hangout with people but I think singles is definitely more fun and challenging

Singles in pickleball is just mini tennis. Hand battles are what make pickleball unique

Singles is generally just far more fun in any racquet sport. Especially in pickle ball I feel doubles always just becomes a stand off with all 4 players standing just outside the kitchen, whereas singles the points are always more exciting

Singles>>>>doubles. Cant wait until more young people and ex tennis people start showing up so those of us whonare athletic, can play without doing bullshit dinking.. much rather play wiffleball tennis over oversized ping pong
