Most people assume others know these tricks, it took me many broken bolts to learn this one along with the "shock" n "heat" methods. Essential when owning an older model BMW that hasn't seen some love in a while. Big fan of the channel, been following for last 5 years. Stay awesome dude ! <3

Or just use an impact? The hammering breaks up the rust pretty good. Good tip tho!

the bolts holding the heatshield on my e60 was so rusty that you could not even get a 10mil on them, you just had to cut a slit in them and use a flathead, also alot of the shield had a hole ruster around the bolts

Good tip. Can you use wd40 or any other products to help ease it out?

or just use MAP gas for 20-30 seconds or longer if its a bigger bolt/ nut, some wd-40 after it cools then heat it again and losen it, heat it again then slowly unlosen it
