She’s deciding by herself to give her hand and life to the man she loves and start a new life. Very empowering and touching at the same time

The whole idea is nonsensical, of course, no one is going to want to walk around with wet shoes and a wet dress, but it looks beautiful

I remember watching this in theatres, and the plot of the wedding took the backseat in my mind. And I watched the close ups of all of these Asian actors, people who look like me being presented on screen simply as beautiful people with no stereotypes, and I started crying for that reason alone.
And then you know this entire scene as a whole is already tear worthy on top of that
