Part of the issue with DD is that you just send a photo with UE, it allows you to enter a note with the photo. I always enter (Front door. Thank you so much!). I think it helps me get extra tips. UE needs to have prepopulated notes to select. It's faster to select a prepopulated note than to type it.

Will DD allow customers to tip bate us by offering a great tip as incentive and then take it away after delivery? Like Uber Eats? BTW folks, contact a delivery manager and get your money back! That’s a contract the customer made with you and if you use that language and insist that you be compensated, UE manager will do it for you!!! Don’t let the customer steal from you!

Received a $3 tip after drop off for a $3.75 order that I wasn’t going to accept but my AR would drop. So glad I didn’t decline. 🎉🎉🎉

I got a 4.50 add-on tip once. It had to be from a delivery I like, at least a week prior. I couldn’t even figure it out because there were no bad tips. I mean nothing out of the ordinary for the mileage I usually accept based on what’s offered or if it’s getting close to dark when I can’t see. A lot of them are four dollars. But somebody decided to be extra generous or they were thinking of someone else - that wouldn’t shock me either. It just tells you what restaurant it was from.

Door dash has had this for months at least in my area. I've noticed way more tips after delivery lately though.

Let me tell you what! I am kind, fast and mindful. I have a 4.9 deliver everything in a heated and cooled bag and cooler and I have only ever gotten 2 added tips 😳🤔 so great customer service doesn’t work for cheap ash people. Sorry! I’m still only taking upfront tips because only a few kind, and courteous people are going back in and adding a tip for my hard work. PERIOD!
