Haven't watched the video yet but my solution is

2^sin(2^x)=1
2^sin(2^x)=2^0

Because they have the same base that means the exponents are equal

sin(2^x)=0
2^x=arcsin(0)
2^x=nπ
where n is an interger

x=log2(nπ)

As a student I hate it when teacher says "nothing hard here this is perfectly simple" even though its clearly not. Everything is hard without proper instructions so a better way would be to say "if you follow instructions and logic this problem will get easier". Saying something is easy doesn't make it easy and might be very infuriating to someone that struggles with it so a more moderate encouragement might be better.
