You might try planting "Rober" cauliflower variety. It is supposed to be more heat tolerant. This is such a wonderful & informative video. Thank you!

Thanks for the info- I was wondering why my plants took long to grow. Then I thought I was just going to get the leaves. Finally I am rewarded with a few smallish heads. Next year, growing seedlings then transplanting.😊

Wow, great video! Thanks for all the information given. I have planted 8 cauliflower seedling plants in October, growing now and one with a small head. Really exciting to grow this veggie. Large leaves and heads are beautiful to see sitting in a container or raised bed. My zone is 9, mild winters. Can't wait to harvest the heads! Thanks for sharing all the good tips. Happy gardening!

Wow. We grow very similar. I start in my patio and then I put them out in the yard and I also have a white vinyl fence but my beds are made out of heat treated wood. Pasco County here.

How should I transplant a plant that already has a cauliflower head? At the nursery, they told me something about leaving the neck of the plant out. The plant is druping and definitely struggling. Not sure what to do now. Thanks for your information Im in Miami so glad I found your channel!

I use rubberbands to close my cauliflower heads. I just picked my last one. Next year, I'm also going to try purple. Knowing when they are ready will help me. I hope we don't freeze again next week, I have already saved my tomatoes once. I have the blankets out and ready. I have over 30 plants.

Great tips! I will try to remember not to transplant in the am...it's just the best time to be out there!

Last year I had a large beautiful head of cauliflower. I patiently waited for it to be ready, picked it and there were worms in it! So disappointing. I will be more careful next time. Thanks for the tips!

I have concerns about being up in the panhandle and the recent cold snaps. Even my lettuces got wilted when I moved the containers into the shed. I'm about to get the raised beds soon and hope that I can plant some ready grown small plants into that and still have enough time before the real heat sets in up here. Thanks for sharing all of this info!

Great tips! I'm a new subcriber. I have been wanting to grow cauliflower for awhile. I am in South FL (Palm Beach County) where are you growing yours? Thank you!
