More of this segment please! It's like Colbert's version of Between The Scenes

I absolutely love seeing this unscripted and even less-filtered glimpse into Colbert's personality - so freaking refreshing. More please CBS!

I've been over to America several times (mostly before it became Trumpanzeeland) and particularly New York where I have friends. I am now setting a goal to get tickets to Stephen's show next time I'm there.

"The greatest prank Stephen Colbert ever pulled was convincing the world he was Stephen Colbert." -- Stephen Colbert, 2019

I have a friend who was upset that Colbert "became liberal". I looked at him in disbelief because I thought he was smarter than that. I told him that Colbert was just doing a bit for laughs and he looked at me puzzled and didn't believe it. It kind of saddened me a little bit.

I LOVE that he's not a prankster and doesn't like pranks on anyone. I agree. It's just a socially acceptable way to be cruel.

His Mom was probably 🤔 thinking when she picked up the banner: I have a dream that one day my son will battle tyranny and bring our country together by being the best comedy talk show host ever...

The first thing Stephen will do is finally rest and watch the sun rise on a grateful universe 😂

I couldn't believe it when one of my conservative / republican colleague at work (years ago) was talking up Colbert Show in support of his views and I told him, dude that is satire and he wouldn't believe me. I still find it unbelievable, but it really showed me some people only see / hear what they are conditioned to believe.

Stephen is the most quick-witted, smartest person on Tv today. Thank God we have him to get us through this nightmare!

Trump will always be a joke, but Colbert doesnt need him to be funny.

The day Atgolf Twitler is thrown out, we'll be throwing a huge party, a historical date that we'll celebrate for many years to come.

After Trump is gone "it will be fine"

for the underlying problem with the US that allowed for and led to a Trump presidency.

My body will unclench so dramatically that I'll gain half a foot in height and drop five pounds overnight.

Cobert is too talented. He has trained himself to lose his South Carolina drawl. His impressions are spot on. His comedic timing is great. His pantomiming adds to his humor. And as this segment shows, he's really quick on his feet. New York is lucky to have him.

Stephen deserves some kind of award. One that probably doesn't exist yet.
