Lets not blame the devil, Denzel. My mom would always tell me: "It wasn't the devil. It was your own choice." We completely have to be accountable for our own actions.

Honestly, Will Smith yelling at Chris was more awkward than the actual slap.

The legends didn't get into a fight. One assaulted the other and cussed on international TV.

I refuse to watch anything with Will Smith in it. After seeing the extent of his anger when punching that comedian on stage, my impression of Smith changed dramatically for the worst

Dr.Martin Luther King said, “The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy . Chris Rock’s response to being physically assaulted, was a true display of manhood.

Denzel is just a man... but from everything I've seen, He's a decent Man and he's 100% correct when he said the only response he had was Preyer... much respect to him for standing on his Faith.

We always wanna blame the devil for our actions. When we do wrong, the devil made me do it. Stop. Take account for your wrong doings and ask God for forgiveness.

Chris turned the other cheek without hitting Will Smith back.

The moment that happened I stood in defense of chris he never deserved that and it was even more disgusting that the Oscar's would allow will to stay in the building after the incident

By this logic, you could never blame anyone for anything...

Wanda Sykes (one of the Oscar's hosts) said in an interview on "Ellen" that Chris came to her after the show and apologized for the whole incident since it took away from the three hosts (not to mention all the people nominated) moment to shine. Now if THAT doesn't tell you what kind of person Chris Rock is nothing will. I already loved him but my respect for him went up 999%.

Denzel you did a great job answering the way you did. I’m at a loss why TD Jakes asked that and how it was put across to be answered like a gossip show. However Denzel was very professional and answered appropriately ❤️

Ok!! I'm gonna need for people to stop calling what Will did to Chris a "fight." It was no where near a fight. What it was, was an "ASSAULT." So please call it what it is.

He’s so full of it. It was truly astounding how they all rushed to protect the aggressor, and not the victim (Chris). How disappointing and sad.

Blame it on the devil. Who are we to condemn. No accountability whatsoever. We should be praising Chris Rock and how he handled it and condemning Wills behavior.
