Stephen does a Q&A with the studio audience before every show. Tonight he met another Steve, and revealed the two step process to writing a good joke.

This is part of the reason I've been a fan of Trevor Noah, is what he has to say off script. And Stephen proves that he is more than capable of being both relatable and hilarious off script.

"You will age rapidly", and to think that just yesterday, I was a kid too, but seriously funny to consider that parents are just that; people with kids that got told they were too old to behave like kids anymore. The art is keeping the kid in you alive through adulthood. Stephen seems to be keeping his inner kid alive by writing jokes, and helping people heal in hard times like these. You're a good comedian, Mr. Colbert, but more than that you're a good man at what you do. Great advice. (*laughing* "President Spanky!" I love it.)
