It is really easy to swim underwater after i saw this video. You will definitely be able to swim just read this:
1. SOMEONE WHO IS A SWIMMER SHOULD WATCH YOU THE MOMENT YOU GO IN.
2. When you duck dive don't lose hope(it may seem you are coming back up) so do a breaststroke and point your head downwards while doing it.
3. The direction of the head and the breaststroke together will take u underwater for sure.
4. If you are new don't go too much deep because u need to come out and it may take sometime to reach up.
5. Before going in, look around for people jumping in the pool. They may jump without noticing you.

Congrats it's easy. You will be able to do in a few tries.

I'm not a great swimmer but I love diving to the bottom and trying to swim the entire length of the pool completely submerged. Deepest I've gotten was 4.5m (14.9ft) in my local diving pool

Not trained as a swimmer or anything it's just something I enjoy
