Not all truffle oil is like that at all. Some Good quality truffle oil is oil essentially steeped and infused with Truffles. Then strained in the sane way that someome can make a garlic oilive oil or a basil olive oil. People should think before making this comment.

I would argue that it’s not necessarily bad it’s just different. Fresh mint is better than the artificial mint flavour but most people would prefer the fake mint flavour of chocolate mint ice cream than if it were made with fresh mint.

Isn't there real truffle in some truffle oils? I haven't exactly shopped around yet but I definitely don't want any chemicals or artificial garbage in my food.
