good review, but i think you had some issues with bios settings, as you have quite inconsistent results. clock per clock the 7700k and 6700k should be exactly the same in performance.
do you have fixed voltage, clock and turbo disabled? (for the ipc testing)

My 2500K system died unexpectedly. I now have a 6700K running @ stock and I won't even consider an 8700K as a worthwhile upgrade because content creation isn't my bag. Before I'll look at upgrading again, it'll have to blow the doors off like Sandy Bridge did, but I can't see that happening any time soon.

Nicolas11x12TECHX I wanna buy a i5 7600 (non k) and because of that I want to go for cheap a motherboard. Something like B150. Will it i5 7600 will work with B150 or H110. Also I'm not planning to overclock it ever with base frequency or anything. Thank you.

only dumb people buy in a new intel cpu that is 3%-7% faster just dumb wait 3 years to upgrade then it will be worth the upgrade 30% faster 10% faster everytime = 3to 6 secs faster ihave a 6700k stock gtx 1080 stock run everything maxed 1440p over 60fps thats all you need

Feed that 7700K some 4000 mhz ram and the numbers would be completely different.
