As a half-Peruvian, I AM PSYCHED YOU MENTIONED THE NAZCA LINES <3 <3 <3 Also as someone who studied anthropology and went on a short study abroad program to study ancient Andean cultures, the academic consensus is that the Nazca lines were not only a way to venerate animals who were regarded as higher powers/deities (spider, monkey, condor, hummingbird, etc.), but the more geometric shapes were designed to demarcate points of water reserves that were underground. =)

That being said I don't not believe in ancient aliens (and in fact find it hard not to believe in aliens at all considering how absolutely vast the universe is), but ancient humans were way more intelligent than we give them credit for.

I love how different skin tones are considered for the filter. Learning the tech behind it is fascinating. It's really neat that these are made IRL, for a digital filter, to inspire people to do the looks with real makeup. It's like proof that it's possible
