I always thank my past self for making sacrifices and changes that make me what i am today. What we do in the present matters.

Professor Peterson. Thank you. We do not have anymore figures like you in Western society. That is why so many people are suffering. You are a kind of Western version of a Wiseman. Even If what you say may not resonate with everyone or maybe people will not agree with you 100%, you have put yourself on the platform which is so much needed. Religion is not filling the gap for thinking person. We do not hear from modern philosophers. We can only turn to yoga - to honest. And UK is not India even if some truth can be find in what modern guru has to say. We as a society are facing so many problems for which it is sometimes so hard to come up with individual solution. The ever expanding technology that surround us is something very new. Also I feel that despite being well educated and having meaningful career I am enslaved. The higher I go with my career - the nastier it gets in terms of environment and in terms of your career taking over your life. It is very hard to fight out of this, but I am doing it anyway. Thanks to my wise husband who is always encouraging and teaching me how to fight. Also It resonates with me so much what you say about sexes and dis empowerment of men. I am a women but I really do not like to see all these crazy women fighting for some superficial rights. How many women want rights without giving anything in return. Women who do not earn any money and are just stay at home mums they may not know what their household budget is but not a single word of encouragement goes toward their hardworking partner, he is never enough. They have never enough. It is men who should be empowered again I guess (not women). Women- they have a chance to prove themselves if they want to. Girls, please do. It is not easy to go out and do what men do. Being a woman myself - I became anti-femist in a sense that I can clearly see that so called feminists lost their minds.
There is nothing worse than persecution of men in the name of equality. Men are lost and weak. Now my dear women you can cry your eyes out that you cannot find a partner and the you remain single. All you have is a high powered career. This makes you completely unapproachable. It is "dragonlady" problem. My best wishes. please continue what you do. My signature will be male (kobuz76) because I have not noticed I started to write this and my husband is logged in. I do not have gender identity problem. Magdalena from UK

Reading his book just now and I loved the homer Simpson reference he uses, "that's for future homer to worry about, man I don't envy that guy." Before even knowing about jordan peterson I myself always thought about this and applied it to my own life. I got myself in a substantial amount of debt and I remember at the time when taking out loans I literally said to myself "that's for future 'kev' to worry about" Almost as a way just to detach myself from my current affairs. It was a very connecting, yet strange and moving moment for me after reading it. It's funny when you stumble across these types of things in your life.

Many people in the comments have asked where they can see him live, so this is probably one of the best opportunities for it.

I have a riddle I think you guys might like:

A phoenix, a flask of poison, and Prima materia (Mangus Opus)are placed in a sealed box. I show you two words on a flipboard. Beauty or Chaos. What you choose, and you must choose, is conserved in the stone. You have all time in the world. What you choose is the soul of the phoenix (Anima mundi). What happens in side the box?

Ability to survive doesn't necessarily mean you are intelligent.Look at average IQ in certain countries, yet they are surviving.Cooperation i would say played far more important role in survival than intelligence. That said, intelligent person still can be indoctrinated and hold onto irrational beliefs.

First time someone’s been able to actually help me understand a bit why certain cultures would decide human sacrifices were necessary back then
