Brothers in Christ, physical exercise is good but it can lead to idolising of ones self. Remember to pray before the gym. Blessings from Romania

I am 60 and I have trained and prayed my whole life. Prayer and fitness has carried me through many difficult times and illness as well. Being fit will help you survive difficulties that life throws at you. I have enjoyed martial arts, lifting, cycling and also team sports like hockey and soccer (football). Your workouts will change as you age and you may not be as fit or strong as when you were young, but don't give up...keep at it. I survived heart issues and shoulder reconstructive surgeries on both shoulders because of fitness. Train as an athlete, not a bodybuilder. Don't worry so much about how pretty you look...go more for health and performance. Just my two cents worth.

I workout to stay fit and capable for my family, to be able to be a protector, and to be able to help those less fortunate or physically able.
I don’t chase the six pack abs or to be able to hit the crazy PR on a lift.

Picking up your Cross and following Christ requires strength, stability, and endurance.

Thank you!! 👍👍 Good info & motivation for the basic 3 (or 5, or 8 {depending on conceptualization}) compound lifts. "ere the golden bowl breaketh" with age.

Hello friend of God! I want to say i appreciate what you are aiming to do with this channel, encouraging your fellow men in Christ Jesus.

I will pray for the words you say to be honoring to God The Father, Jesus and The Holy Ghost and edifying to the hearers. May your influence grow so Our Lord is more fully known and His name praised at the change He is doing in men's hearts.

Be strong and courageous!

Blessings from Texas,
Andrew

Hello, and thank you for your inspirational videos. I was curious if you guys are ever going to post a workout regime, or plan. That way your viewers can start their journey with a bit more guidance. Perhaps a dumbbell only full body workout for the at home for the inexperienced enthusiast like myself! 😃✋😃

We don't need to be gym slaves but must be strong. I really just do chins and dips, deadlifts

Actually the study details indicate that older ppl 65 yrs + who break a hip 15-30% are dead within 12 months of the event. Of those who survive their mobility is downgraded significantly. So you now are using a cane, and if you had a cane prior to the event you are now using a walker, and if you were using a walker you are know in a wheelchair. This is why I'm a huge advocate and fitness coach helping men over 40 rebuild their strength & conditioning!

We have to remember men in antiquity were very fit and strong due to labor and military service. It's not about having abs or benching 405, it's about having the ability to address any need that may come up.

Like say you are very strong and look like a body builder but you have no endurance whatsoever, that's no good either

Well how does someone deal with the pride that come with getting bigger and stronger?

Hey! Let me ask you a question. I am thinking to be a catechumen, but how do you do in fasting times? I am very worried about it.

there is nothing in the bible that says men must or should lift only avoid sin. The argument that men must lift is a wordly opinion trying to be applied onto Christianity. By doing so you are improving your body but it is your soul you must improve for the body will be left behind. Jesus said, "my kingdom is not of this world."

Though the prayers of our holy fathers, O Lord Jesus Christ, our God, have mercy on us. Amen.

O Heavenly King, Comforter, Spirit of Truth, Who art everywhere present and fillest all things, Treasury of good gifts and Giver of Life, come and abide in us, and cleanse us of all impurity, and save our souls, O Good One.

Holy God, Holy Mighty, Holy Immortal, have mercy on us. (thrice)

Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, now and ever, and to the ages of ages. Amen.

Most Holy Trinity, have mercy on us. O Lord, wash away our sins, O Master, pardon our transgressions. O Holy One, visit and heal our infirmities, for Thy Name's sake.

Lord, have mercy. (3 times.)

Glory to the Father, and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, now and ever, and to the ages of ages. Amen.

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.

Pray unto God for me for a good workout without any injuries, O holy God-pleaser St. Sebastian, for I fervently flee unto thee, the helper and intercessor for my soul.

Dear Lord, I want to honor and glorify you in my physical body, just as I do in my spirit and mind. I pray for a good workout without any injuries or muscle strain. I just want to be in the best physical health I can be, so I can serve you in all I do. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
