You forgot one big thing: you must NAME the weapons, get a strong emotional connection to the weapons, then cry in a corner when you lose them.

There's a super consistant way to never miss the Lynel's face with an arrow. It doesn't work on spear lynels and you have to land the first shot legitimately, but after you mount the lynel and jump off, if you keep holding the button to lock-on while walking straight backwards and drawing your bow, for some reason the lynel will charge towards you once without attacking, everytime. Use this window to aim the easiest shot in your life. Rinse and repeat.

You'll never use durability on your weapons, but the lower damage the weapon, the more arrows you'll need. I killed the lynel on the plateau using a soldier's bow and a spiked moblin club in a few worry-free minutes using this strat. Just remember: Never let go of the lock-on button.

(This is the result of 3 hours of research and dying to the lynel on the plateau.)

I started a "nuzlocke" of my own 2 days ago but with a few different rules.

1. Permadeath. Falling in lava and drowning also count as permadeath. Since those things would be a guaranteed death irl.
2. No bombs in the overworld since bomb camping makes the game way easier and weapon hoarding way too easy.
3. No food since its OP. I can only heal from completing shrines, and by resting at an inn. No fairies either.
4. No champion powers.

Hey Ant, love your speedruns! I kind of have an interesting idea for a run. Complete the Great Plateau as you would normally. As soon as you get the para-glider, set a timer. Maybe an hour or so? That is your time to prepare. You can use that hour to get whatever you want to fight Ganon. After that time you must immediately head to Ganon, without picking up anymore items and fight him with what you collected. I'm curious what you would prioritize getting and how you would handle it.
