So we played Zelda: Breath of the Wild with ZELDA as the MAIN CHARACTER! The different costumes are amazing and we added several extra challenges as well.

In today's video, we walk you through what it was like to play The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild with a mod that lets you play as ZELDA. The great thing about this BotW mod is that it also changes her costumes, animations and even most sound effects.

This was pretty neat. My one critique to the modders is that they missed a huge opportunity to have the full "Sheikah" armor set look exactly like OG Sheik.

Link is the one trapped in Hyrule Castle and instead of "open your eyes..." it's just Link going "Hup! Hyah! Haaa!"

It's so amazing seeing how Urbosa's dialogue changed to Zelda, kind of heartbreaking to watch as she told her in person to not blame herself.

I think the ending with two Zeldas feels more metaphorical than literal. She is seeing the part of her she was searching for for so long. It feels more like an ending for a story about self discovery and that self discovery lead to her being able to destroy ganon

i would honestly love to see a zelda game where zelda is the main protagonist and needs to save link. maybe she could wield magic to replace combat with weapons?

Honestly- the girly walk animation was terrible. It just felt like something for the male gaze. Zelda might be a princess but in this mod she's also a warrior so I really like the way she walks and runs now

Damn, I've already managed to imagine the scene where we see Link fighting Calamity, and we know that he has been fighting non-stop for 100 years. No magic, he just fought with a sword, in tattered clothes, covered with scars

I think it would've been neat if the Zeldas were in fact same the same Zelda, but the one inside Ganon could have been Zelda's spirit, or an incarnation of her regret for not being able to save Hyrule the first time. It would've been cool if in the final cutscene the held out their hands and merged Byleth and Sothis style.

Sidon Fun Fact: According to Nintendo Sidon, when we see him grown up is of the age 135. Thus meaning that so called Baby Sidon, as cute as he is to see, is actually of the age of 35!

Also Sidon means Fishery in Hebrew!

I respect the fact that whoever developed the mod didn't make it a thirst trap ahahahah. He could have been rich with a bit of jiggle physics and more revealing outfits. But instead he decided not to turn zelda into walking eye candy
