I caused a bad accident a year and a half ago. I’ve went to jail and finished. My insurance company found me 50% responsible for the accident. I have 5 injury claims against me that haven’t been settled yet with SGI. I was wondering can they still sue me for more money through the courts? Also can they look into my personal bank account and take money from there? (A wealthy individual I know wants to send me money - or should someone else in my immediate family(mom/dad) hold the money for me?)

I work for this company doing certain work and all; and we had this very difficult costumer, they kept changing things, getting the wrong stuff (and blaming us), they had to comply with the code requirements...and once they got their permits finalized and everything, they sued for the wrong stuff they bought, consulting fees and other stuff they had to buy, essentially asking for a refund (for what?) because they didn't comply with the code. What I find hilarious is they are trying to sue for a mistake they made when I was very specific on the product they needed, yet the blamed me. Should've just cut our losses at the start with these people. The worst I've ever deal with, thing is we/me were willing to work with them too and got it done and tried to satisfy and keep them happy. Some people are just ungrateful. Fine with us, we'll win for sure considering there's a trail of their constant changes, mistakes, etc.

And of course - be careful of illicit conveyance. Illicit conveyance to try to protect assets from lawsuits can backfire, and the assets will still be slapped for judgment and will be revoked from your possession to the plaintiff's. What if someone is getting sued for “ injuries” from a car crash for, let’s say $10, 000. The car crash Wasn’t big or bad all. Just both cars got scratched a little bit on one side of each car.
