New comers should not duplicate anything from this.
as could result in an injury or tool damage .

1. Nether have a stock hanging out as shown in this vid without support.
2. No Rpm speeds given, so you don't have no idea. (wrong speeds causes problems)
3. No Tool information given. (carbide/Diamond/Fast tool steel Ect) even tho he uses an incorrect fast steel for the job.
4. The correct cutting angle has not been mentioned.
5. You don't centre the tool up to the end of the job that has not been clocked, " Set True ", (centre your tooling up form centre of the chuck.)
6. Hear the incorrect facing angle chatter, Facing and parallel cutting have different angles. and both in this vid are incorrect.

Anyway I think this Kid was given this lathe for Christmas and just wanted to show it off.
Next Christmas he get a free machine course.

It’s better to check the tool center using the live center on the tail stock. It’s more accurate than a visual using the part.

I don't understand everyone's obsession with using plastic gears in a metal lathe. Maybe consider offering a metal gear upgrade kit for this lathe and make future lathes metal gear only.

les tours "mini lathe" chinois a bas prix sont de mauvaise qualité, il faut tout démonter pour dégraisser les pièces et tout régler jusqu'a la fixation du moteur . des modifications presque obligatoires à faire sur ce style de machine . tarif machine env : 450 euros . on peu pas demander de la qualité a ce prix !
