Finally a good carb swap for GY6 engines!!!

After a ton of mods that I did to my GY6 150cc I would say that besides Big Bores the most effective mods are to get a bigger variator then install 11g sliders (with a bigger variator you can get away with lighter sliders and still not lose top end unless you go crazy low)
I put a 24mm generic PWK in mine used the stock #95 main jet from the original carb (going to 100 would flood the engine) 36 or 38 pilot and the needle in the leanest position. I live at 6500ft though.

Very impressive performance for what it is and super smooth.

I run an OKO PWK 30mm But PZ Carbs Nice To I Run A Taida 232cc 4valve Liquid Cooled Swapped Honda Ruckus And Boy That Thing Gets Down. I Tell People All The Time They Are Missing Out Not Using Slide Carbs Over Stock Carbs. Lots More Tunablility

I use to turn down the neck on pwk 26 or 28

Just put a new engine in to make it faster then buying a new carb a new head and other stuff to make it faster ..Just get complete engine then you could stay up with traffic if have mc license ...This what I am doing geting a cheap 150 and switching it to a 250 whole engine ..

Adapter not needed if you get a PE carb. I’m running a Nibbi 30mm carb on my 50cc. Top speed verified so far is 59 with my old 28mm.

I have two bikes. A coolster 70 and i recently bought a used taotao vip for $400. Im wondering if the intake manifold for the coolster would fit my taotao cause not only would it be pretty much free but id get more power.
