Thank you Julius - you can also add a 'Google Search Console' navigation item on the left hand side which contains two search console reports, via the Library link at the bottom of the navigation. What I was looking for today was a few reasons for why I should be linking the two and if there are any benefits to linking via the UI compared to linking via BigQuery or simply using the two connectors for Data Studio.

Really hope they change the whole "only 1 search console property". I can understand that mechanically that would be hard to do, but we have 5 different variants of our website with 5 different consoles, separated by country. I'm guessing I'd have to create duplicate streams just to get to the view I need, which will increase the bandwidth used up by this pixel.

Great video. Is there any other video about this? I would like to see how to see some metrics (Conversions) for each search query. I guess I need to create a report for this.

is there any way to connect ga4 user_pseudo_ids with search queries and get this data to BigQuery raw data?

Thank you so much for the useful content. I followed your guide and succeeded to use GA4 with Google Tag Manager for my site. However, the other site's GA4 isn't working properly even I configured the same settings. I was using Universal Analytics and added GA4.
When I saw the GTM Preview, the GA4 config tag was fired, and I could see the events on the GA4 DebugView.
So I published the GTM container, and the next day, I recognized that the GA4 only tracks a couple of users. For instance, the number of active users on Universal Analytics is 280, and 5 on GA4. I realized that while my GA4 DebugView, the real-time user is not shown.
I deleted the property and created a new property, and the result was the same. I didn't set any filters and the container is published.
Would you please help me to solve this issue? What should I check?
Thanks again.

Hi Julius, is this valid in 2023?
I've linked google search account to my GA4 months ago, but I don't see reports Google Organic Search Queries and Google Organic Search Traffic showing up under Acquisition Overview report.

It also not showing up on the Customize Report > Add Card section

Thanks for the credible content. I’m new to this field and am creating a demo site to play with. I did some research and saw that one of the reasons people still opted to use UA is to link to search console. Thus I was on my way to creating both a UA and a GA4 account. While doing so I noticed that Google recommends using only GA4 and not doing UA. I then did some more research and ran into this video.

I would appreciate your input on if at this point with the all the things Google has added to GA4, do you think one should still create UA accounts alongside it? Much thanks

Fix your title! This video tutorial explains how to link Search Console to GA. Your title says that it is for linking GA to Search Console which it does not explain.
