Well Tom, really glad to hear you haven't bought a Lemon, as far as the leaks go all old cars leaked oil from anywhere there was a seal or gasket, the good thing is more modern silicone seals and gaskets do a better job, some of the rubber underneath did look a little suspect and I wouldn't ignore them for too long. Overall not too bad mate, you must be chuffed, Stunning Classic!!

Just love that car Tom. Back in the fuel crisis of the early 70's l nearly bought a Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 with the slant 4 head lights. The price: £1, 250!! (now they go for £300K+)! Cheers, John.

I could imagine you and your significant other half arriving in style with the 250 at the Goodwood festival and revival. Shades on, roof down, coolness personified.

A technical video is not boring at all. It is great to see you are buying a classic. You have so many followers of your generation that we need to encourage more of them to buy interesting cars, rather than super cars that are depreciating and just become yesterday’s wonder. As you will be soon realising the feeling and challenge of driving a classic car is far more satisfying than just blasting around the city in modern Ferrari, which soon bores you. Keep it up and lead the charge. Try to be more technical and learn more, you will find it fascinating.

Do more techy and close ups! Take your time with it, it’s not often people get to see up close and underneath these cars. I haven’t watched your videos in ages but this car makes me watch them

Appreciating these classic cars more and more the way the motor industry is heading 👌

You bought very well mate. Octane are top people who do a proper job and supply great cars. No messing about. Glad for the guys at Joe Macari to confirm this. Them lot scrutinise the car strictly so get a pass from them is huge. Look forward to seeing you driving this beast.

Crazy when you see it up on the ramp, as modern as cars get there is absolute beauty seeing something from a bygone era. It’s a bit like seeing the shard all over YouTube then seeing a Georgian manor and being like yeah… this is what it’s all about. Enjoy your success man.

Not too techy and certainly not boring. Looking forward to seeing the car over the summer period at shows etc. You may have to ditch the caps for perhaps a more mature style of head gear, more in keeping with the car's image. 😅

Impressed that you’re planning to use such a car.

Love the old stuff, despite what the YouTube algorithms suggest I should like, mind you, I am only a few weeks the right side of 50. 😂

Think of the content issues naturally bring about.

What an absolutely gorgeous Ferrari. This was the "golden" age of Ferrari. Perfection on the motor side and perfection on the coachworks side. This and your 912 are my picks of your collection. Is the 912 still in progress? Anyway, looking forward to road trips with this one. Cheers.
