I got asked recently what I would do if I only had 5 minutes to work on my foot, ankle, and lower leg mobility. This is what I came up with. I've helped thousands of people get out of foot pain and these are the greatest hits.

Your feet are the foundation to your body. They need love and attention. This is like flossing, but for your foot, ankle, and lower leg. And don't even act like you don't have time. It's 5 minutes! And you can do it while you watch TV.

This routine fixed my feet!! Mine were swollen and stiff for god knows how long and afterlife day 3 of this routine I could rotate my ankles and swelling reduced so much. Grateful for your channel and knowledge

Just discovered this channel ! Love the vibe! great exercises hitting some micro zones on the foot other exercises hadn't hit:) rehabbing my feet for a year w/ good results-- to everyone out there- stay it! It takes time after years in the foot coffins known as shoes! If your desperate - barefoot walking in deep grass at parks OR sand at beaches is VERY very HELPFUL ! Good luck out there!

I think I'll try adding this to my gymnastics training. The hand-foot glove I find especially interesting. I think it can have great benefit for balance and stability, especially on landings and on the beam. When I was young we used to train feet too, but it was painstaking, had to pull ourselves with only our toes for the whole length of a basketball field. These exercies seem much more appropriate

One great foot and ankle exercise that I use with my gymnasts often, that incorporates both tibial and calf raises and balance - is zig-zag walking on one foot: you alternate going over the heel and raising toes, and vice versa, in a zig zag pattern. You can do it heading to the outside of your foot, and to the inside of your foot, so that's 2 variations per leg, if you do a 5 meter stretch per variation your lower legs will be on fire. Focus on lifting the toes and heel as much as possible while maintaining balance!

I have super flat feet, trying to rebuild my arches, spending a lot more time barefoot. 15 years in work boots.

I could do this when I first looked at it, but now that I have Achilles tendinopathy from wearing shoes that rubbed against my heel can I do this video?
