Me laughs in 94 f150 with 300, 000 miles. The first time this thing broke down was when I was hit by a Kia Soul that ran a stop sign it didn’t officially stop until I turned it off for the last time.😢 what a great truck. Story time: I got hit by a Kia Soul that ran a stop sign I was going 45 and they said they couldn’t see me coming because of the rain. My vehicle with me in it veered off the road into a field narrowly missing a power line pole. I originally told the emts that I didn’t black out but now that I’ve had time to think about what happened I’m pretty sure I did for a few seconds. So I jump out my truck in a down poor thinking where’s the road and other car. I find it and run over. A lady is jumping out the passenger seat on the side that didn’t get hit and she gets into the back seat for something. She doesn’t have shoes on there is glass everywhere on the ground. I ask is everyone’s alright do you need help she doesn’t say anything and goes for the back seat I run to the driver side the side that took the impact of my truck and find a man stuck behind his air bags he asks me to help with the door I yank it open and he climbs out I take a second to breathe and see blood running down my face and arms I look at my truck in the field and I notice something. ITS STILL RUNNING I can hear it and smoke is coming out of the engine it’s also leaking all sorts of stuff presumably oil gas and coolant i think oh shoot it’s gonna catch fire I better go turn it off. I run over and go to twist the guy and find the keys are no longer in the ignition so I have to dig through all my stuff that’s been thrown to the front of the truck to find the keys and put them in the ignition to turn the truck off. I finally do so. I run back over to find the lady holding a kid in the middle of the road (what she was grabbing out of the backseat) and the old man beside her. The lady says she’s going to call 911 so I finally take a second to breath a red truck pulls up to the crash and let’s the older couple and little girl get in the truck while Im like I need to get there license plate just in case I go and look for it and it’s just gone. I call my dad he doesn’t live to far away from where the wreck happened and he starts heading my way. I go to the red truck and they tell me to get in at this point it’s pouring rain so I get in and they hand me paper towels to clean up the blood on my arms neck and face I ask how bad it is and they say it looks fine nothing life altering just a bad cut I ask the lady is she called 911 like she said and she didn’t by this point my dad shows up in his car so I go sit with him and we call 911 and the police and ambulance get there. I check in with the ambulance and my dad takes me to the ER we sit there for 5 mins and the old guy who hits me walks in and tries to be real friendly with me but I can be bothered with him I just so angry my favorite truck is destroyed I end up ignoring him for about 3 hours and they finally get me in to get stitches in my face. Worst day of my life so far. 😢 RIP 1994 Ford F-150 a beast until the end.

With Volkswagen aside from the diesel scandal their newer generations they seem to have an issue with pairing a right engines with the right transmissions that's what I commonly find with most of them
