Fallout 4: 5 More Things You (Probably) Never Knew You Could Do in The Wasteland

Fallout 4 takes us to a much different world than the one we left and this new frontier offers plenty of ways for survivors to keep busy in the Commonwealth. However, three years later many players are starting to wonder if they’ve tapped all that Fallout 4 has to offer yet. Well, in today’s video we seek to dispel such a notion as we dive into five more things you (probably) never knew you could do in Fallout 4.

If you go to Nuka-World wearing the Silver Shroud costume, the Protectrons in Dry Rock Gulch recognise you as a celebrity and you can indulge in Silver Shroud dialogue there as well. It's super-funny hearing the Sole Survivor bombastically describing how they vanquished the bloodworm menace :)

If you avoid the northwestern Red Rocket (never interact with Dogmeat), once you get to Kellog's house and find his hidden room Nick will whistle for Dogmeat and you will be given a formal introduction to your K9 companion.

I love the back and forth between The Mechanist and 'The Silver Shroud' because you can tell the person behind the Mechanist's mask is really enjoying talking to someone supposedly as nerdy as her

Did you know you can murder somebody to death by falling on them with a power armor ?

That last one has quite the varied dialog as well!

Took out a group using exclusively an institute rifle while in some forgotten power armor, then when I started sneaking through another gang's hideout, overheard one of them nervously saying they heard a rival gang were wiped out by a 'robot with lazor vision' XD

Did you know its possible to defeat the Mechanist without fighting the robot waves? You can find three different holotapes throughout the lair, and take them to a terminal towards the beginning of the area to unlock a hidden elevator to her quarters. You can just walk up to her, and convince her to sand down.

Regarding Nick and random encounters. A nice detail is that if Nick is with you, and your character has all the perks that will cause the Mysterious Stranger to ranomdly appear and help you, Nick will exclaim that there is the guy he was looking for, then cry in frustration when at the very next moment the stranger is gone without a trace and he was unable to capture him.

I actually knew you could wear the Silver Shroud costume during the Mechanist from the get go. When the DLC released I decided to don my costume again since we learned Mechanist was from Silver Shroud. I was super happy I actually got Shroud dialogue

I find it oddly cute and wholesome that even though they’re actually going to fight in a post apocalyptic world they still find the time to just have fun with each other and go in character

2:56 fun fact: you can find another charge card in the garbage. Also, you can kill Parker and take your money back, then go to Brooks and get 100 more caps. You make 100 caps.
