If it's a high magic setting or otherwise has large amounts of magic suffused the world I'm not opposed to masters of their crafts having a bit of magic in what they do...if a player has managed to get himself a skill roll for jump, sneak, tumble or say atheletics equating 35-40 you bet your ass it's going to be a slightly magic-infused spectacle.
