Should You Have Breakfast If Not Hungry?

Показать описание
What to do if you’re not hungry for breakfast
So you’re learning how to eat intuitively and in doing so, there’s a large emphasis on listening to your body and eating when you’re hungry. However, when you wake up in the morning, you may not be feeling physically hungry. Several hours may roll by until you finally either start to get hungry or just decide that it’s been too long. However, when you start eating you may notice that you are feeling a bit out of control. This makes sense because it’s been so many hours since your last meal.
On top of that, there’s all this messaging about breakfast being an important meal during the day, however, your body is not giving you signals to want food.
To further complicate things, many of us have a history of dieting. And in diet culture the idea is that eating less is better. One of the easiest times eat less is in the morning. After all your metabolism doesn’t truly wake up until you finally have something to eat, so this could leave you in an interesting conundrum, where you’re not necessarily feeling hungry but it’s been maybe 8, 9 or 10 hours since you’ve last eaten.
But if you skip breakfast and get too hungry you can end up eating too much when you finally do get to eat. Getting too full, maybe even tired and feel snacky for the rest of the day. Doing this can worsen diet trauma as you leave the home and start the day with little to no food
Truth is there’s more than one way to address this. In this video I help you figure out how to handle this dilemma to help you overcome cravings, food obsession, improve your energy and focus and so much more…
