🙂Hello Jackie, a few months ago I started to watch your videos, and they inspired me to start fasting. Shocked at how easy and effective it has been. I've lost weight, feel a ton of energy and feel young again. (I'm 71) I just went dancing with my 40 to 50 year old friends, and guess who owned the dance floor! A big big thank you Angie!❤❤❤

You’ve inspired me. I’ve gone from sad to omad . I’m on day 5 and lost 2kilos not restricting anything just normal food. My goal is 30 days I hope I don’t develop the now or never mindset it’s something to be mindful of thx x

I like it. I started 8-9 days ago.
Just breakfast, and then all day you are free and productive..

What I like about doing OMAD protocol during celebratory periods, is that you can go all out & not end up bloated (as I have done in the past over Christmas). As you say, you can eat whatever you want, no restrictions, you can celebrate with your family without restrictions, but stay at a good weight.

👋 hello here. I started my OMAD. I’ll be doing it for 60days and see how much weight I can lose. I’m 76kg as of today 11/02/2023. I’m going for 65kg which I used to be. Y’all reply so I can keep going 😢😢 don’t discourage me tho. I already know the health story and everything😅

I love how it makes every meal much more enjoyable

If you’re stepping on the scale once a month I think you should also remember to always weigh yourself a day or 2 after your period as that’s your lightest day of your cycle 😊

23:1 is how I do it every day! I've been doing OMAD for 3 months now. I love it. It's definitely something that works well for me, my body, and my lifestyle. I'm strict with my eating window and fasting window, coz I thought that's how it had to be!!! I totally get what you mean by the "now or never" mind game. To begin with I ate a lot of sweet treats, coz I thought I couldn't have them later if I wanted them. I didn't like this, so started eating more satisfying healthy foods, so I wouldn't need the sweet food at all. Still learning so much as I go. It's been great. Thank you for your videos. 😊

Good to know the short window doesn't really make a difference. I saw on a forum some folks really insist on the 1 hour window. I know for me an hour would be too short.

I’m always bummed to read other people’s results. I’ve done 18:6 fasting for 3 years (and don’t eat extra calories from skipping). Even do some 24 hr fasting. I have not lost one single OUNCE. Don’t feel any more energy or anything different. No difference in measurements or clothes. I keep doing it because it saves me time in the morning. Oh and my medical tests are also the same. Such a bummer when others seem to get so much more.

I’m 63 and vegan for 8 years. I recently started OMAD. I will say this concerning weight loss. I think that younger people will be able to do intermittent fasting and not restrict the kinds of foods they eat during their eating window and still be fine. But after age 60, it is extremely difficult to lose or even control weight due to hormonal changes and slower metabolism. So I think that after the age of 60, it is better to restrict the kinds of foods or, at least, how many calories are consumed during the eating window. Otherwise, an older person might find themselves gaining weight, especially if their diet is contains a lot of animal products.

I started out with you...but felt it was too restrictive for me this month. I often have several 23/1 days, but I just can't do it every day.

I am currently on omad diet. Ive been doing it a couple of times through the year and it works great for me :D
Im consuming max 500 cals a day, which seem very extreme restriction but for me it works. Im eating anything i want (also having a drink like a tea, coffee, juice) just making sure its not above calorie restriction i set to myself. What i noticed is that i usually lose 3-4kg in first 6 days of omad. Plus to mention, im working full time job, and riding a bike every day. It seem insane to be able to function with low calorie intake plus working, but it works for me.

Love that you were lenient & had an app, a drink(s) & dessert in your eating window.

I was not able to complete the 1 hour eating window challenge in June simply because I cannot eat enough in a single hour. So far in July I have been doing a modified ADF with 3 x 40 hour fasting per week. I like this so much better!

I've been doing OMAD for a few days now since Friday evening. I've tried intermittently fasting including 2/3 days fasting periods and found it became a chore to do and was actually harder to try and plan meals in a 6 hour gap for example and eventually I fell out with it.

These last few days I've not been worried about the meal I have and just focused on having one period of eating and whatever food would work for me and my wife at the time. I'm a shift worker and some days I'm working until 9 and just naturally thinking I'll eat when I'm home is just so much easier and I'm not constantly worrying about having enough to get me through til dinner but not too much I can't enjoy dinner etc.

My energy is increasing, I've not yet weighed myself but already I'm feeling like my belly is more jiggly which in the past has meant a loss in visceral fat which is a lot more important to me than just visible ones. I'm quite comfortable in my own skin, yes a couple of sizes down in clothes is going to give me that visible difference but it's health and longevity for me and so far this feels like the best way to go about it. Thanks for sharing your story, I think the strict hour won't be my way to go as such but some days I naturally finish in less time and the longest so far has been 1.5 and neither felt rushed or too much of a break up in the meal.

OMAD advocate for life? Could be!

I'm doing a omad with a 2 hour window from June to September instead of a 2 meal 5hour window. Thanks for the inspiration 😊

I loved the sample pack! Need to order more...I love watermelon too!
I just wanted to say that I've been doing ADF for a cpl weeks and I think I've finally broke my plateau! I do a MWF down day and 16-18hr fast the rest of the week. Feeling good!

I did omad for 2 weeks lost 16 lbs, I did go up 2lbs after starting to eat but maintained that for 2 months, about to start again and need to lose another 60lbs. I do it slowly, so 2-3 weeks on and off until I'm where I want to be. Sometimes I can just keep going but this works for me best. I'm a momx3, this is how I lose post partum weight.
